Some information about you we register and use for settlement purposes, if this is necessary to be able to make a payment for the clinic’s treatment for you, e.g. via your region, municipality or an insurance company.
The clinic is obliged to keep your journal until 10 years have elapsed after you have been in contact with the clinic the last time. If you choose to change to another dentist, we will transfer your journal to your new dentist, who will then take over the duty to keep your journal. In special cases, which are described in the executive order, we can keep your journal for longer than described above.
Information about you that the clinic stores for use for settlement purposes is stored for as long as this is of relevance and is required for the clinic’s settlement and posting. Information about you for settlement purposes is registered on the basis of Art. 6 pieces 1, points b and f (until May 25, 2018, the information is registered on the basis of the Personal Data Act section 6 (1), no. 2 and no. 7).
You are always entitled to access the information that the clinic registers and processes about you. If you believe we have recorded incorrect information about you, please ask us to correct the information. We must not delete information in your journal, but if you believe there is an error in the journal, please ask us to add an addition to your comments. Should you wish to complain about the clinic’s processing of your personal data, you can appeal to the Data Inspectorate, for which you can find more information on www.datatilsynet.dk.
