A bridge is replacement for one or more teeth and is permanently attached to the neighbouring teeth (or implants). The advantages of a bridge is that it looks like natural teeth and the chewing function will remain the same and unchanged.
When is a bridge the solution?
Whether a bridge or and implant is the right solution for you, depends on the problem and the magnitude. If the neighbouring teeth are week, then the right solution would be to prepare these teeth for a bridge by crowns. However, if the neighbouring teeth are healthy and strong, then the correct solution would be implants. You can read more about crowns on our webpage.
